Whose OzConstInfo Site?
So far, it's just me - John Pyke, lecturer in Constitutional Law at the Law School at the Queensland University of Technology, Brisbane. I hope to expand the range of contributors as time goes on, and we may eventually form an Australian Society for Constitutional Information and set up a proper ".org" site. [Click here for some historical information re the source of inspiration for the proposed name.]
My Stance
I am a republican who voted Yes at the referendum in 1999, despite disliking some features of the model that we were presented with, and I will go on arguing and indeed campaigning for a republic.
However, I intend to make it absolutely clear when I'm presenting fact on this site and when I'm presenting opinion. As to opinion, I don't promise that it will always be totally balanced, but I'll usually at least include a link to a site that presents another point of view.
