The Commonwealth Constitution - Reading the Text
The full text of the Commonwealth Constitution can be read in several
different ways:-
or, for much easier reading, here are my two edited versions:-
- The Working Constitution, in which I have removed all expired and obsolete provisions and left only the currently-relevant provisions (which reduces the Constitution from about 11000 words to about 7000), with comprehensive footnotes explaining the editing;
or the even shorter
- Essential Constitution - selected provisions, showing only the fundamental features of our national system of government (which cuts it down to about 3000 words).
